Gold, closing Friday at $1,691.60, continued it’s modest rise in August. Prices began the month of August at $1,659, climbing approximately $36 over the course of the month.
Prices have remained relatively stable over the year, bottoming out at just under $1,600 during during May. These reflected prices on September 1, 2012.
