Specifically, home health aids and personal care aids are the 2 fastest growing professions. Personal care aids has a 70% projected change of employment between 2010 and 2020, and home health aids has a 69% change of employment for the same term.
Biomedical engineers is third at a 62% growth rate, with Brick and Stone Masons at number 4, and carpenter helpers at number 5. Veterinary technicians are number 6 and iron and rebar workers are at number 7. Another Medical industry comes in at #8, with physical therapy assistants. At number 9, pipe fitters, plumbers and steamfitters. Meeting, convention and event planners are at #10, and another medical profession, diagnostic medical sonographers are at number 11.
