Based on government statistics put out by the bureau of labor statistics, men in 2012 have had a higher re-employment rate than women.
According to the bureau, men have had a re-employment rate of 61% in 2012 versus women at 50%. The share of displaced men that had left the labor force was also modestly lower at 16% for men, versus 20% for women.
